Apply for reimbursement rightfully owed to you by reconciling your FBA inventory and refunds

Hello All,
1) Many sellers were suddenly gated out of selling Logitech products. It is unclear why some were and some were not. If you were, Amazon is not giving an option to appeal so it certainly won’t be easy to sell Logitech again. It still may be possible, though. (HT YW)

2) This is a standard email that implies a full reinstatement. “Hello, Funds from your sales are being reserved while we review your account. This is our standard process after we reinstate an account. The reserve amount equals your gross sales amount for the previous 14 days. Based on your order volume, the reserve amount may change daily…”

4) Update on auto reinstatements for certain inauthentic suspension situations: Amazon is now giving 72-hour warning to agree to terms before deactivating the account.
“How do I prevent my account from being temporarily deactivated?
To prevent your account from being deactivated, within 72 hours please send us an acknowledgment that you understand and agree with the statements below…”

5) New! “More than 4% of orders were confirmed to have been shipped late. Late shipment rate should not exceed 4% and is calculated over 10 and 30-day windows’”

6) Amazon has been suspending accounts with a large increase in velocity in a short period (mainly FBM). They consider such accounts to be high risk. “Your Amazon selling account has been temporarily deactivated. Your listings have been removed. Funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact on your account. Why is this happening? Your current sales volumes are not supported by buyer feedback or an established sales history. “

7) New!! “The Amazon Project Zero team regularly audits submissions from the Project Zero self-service counterfeit-removal tool to ensure participants are only removing counterfeit items. In a recent audit of your submissions, we found the items captured below were not counterfeit and should not have been removed. We have reversed the decision to remove these items from the Amazon store for the reason(s) listed below:”

8) New! “Dear Seller, We are excited to invite you to use the new SFP automated shipping workflow. The new workflow will help you set and update Prime shipping regions (at zip three levels) based on your ship-from location(s) and your carrier’s coverage (i.e. set my Prime regions as all Zip 3s where USPS Priority Mail can cover in 2 days from my warehouse). With this feature, you are guaranteed to be able to ship Prime orders with your selected ship methods, while Amazon will guarantee the on-time delivery rate for these Prime orders… “

9) We have a new Telegram group for sellers on UAE. Also, due to popular demand of the ASGTG alert system, ALL alerts will also be posted in the important information TG channel instead of the down group. You can join all groups here.

10) Amazon updated its policy on Human Parts & Burial Artifacts  (i.e., Human skulls, bones, and skeletons is now permitted!)

  • Did you notice that the Transaction Processing Service Terms of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement actually appoints en entity called Amazon Payments, Inc. “as your agent for purposes of processing payments . . . remitting Sales Proceeds to Your Bank Account . . . ” An agent has a unique and well-recognized status in law that imposes certain obligations on the agent (API) towards the principal (the seller). So how is it that Amazon can unilaterally and in its sole discretion withhold a seller’s proceeds forever, i.e., take the money? I have a case pending with the AAA where we’ll find out. I would be happy to hear from others who have raised the issue in arbitration and how AMZ defended its actions.
